With 16.6 million women and girls engaged in organized football worldwide in 2023, and a 24% increase since 2019, women’s football is experiencing unprecedented growth. According to FIFA, it presents the single biggest growth opportunity in the world of sports today.
And here’s an empowering statistic: Forty percent of all sports participants in world are female.
