Why is equal involvement of women and men in football so important?
Gender equality in football isn’t just about fair play; it’s a powerful tool for social development. By including women’s perspectives in the game, we reduce poverty, encourage inclusion, and foster greater social progress.
Football is also a powerful tool for empowering women. Empowered women with gained self-confidence, fighting spirit and competitive spirit become athletes in the fight to overcome gender inequality in his industry and in society at large.
This is why, as part of our project, we now have activities promoting social inclusion through football, using our newly developed Toolkit. It’s designed to support this vision and create lasting change.
